St John’s Lutheran School, Kingaroy

GFG Projects was engaged to construct a new two-level Senior’s block at St John’s Lutheran School in Kingaroy, supporting the school’s expansion into senior schooling in 2024. The project involved the demolition of existing sports courts to make way for a state-of-the-art facility, including General Learning Areas and Science Rooms tailored to the needs of senior students.

The project was delivered within an operational school environment, with the safety of students, staff, and visitors being the highest priority. Careful staging and innovative construction methodologies were adopted to minimise disruptions and ensure seamless day-to-day operations.

Proactive communication and stakeholder engagement strategies were essential to maintaining harmony with local residents. Regular updates ensured neighbours were informed of works that might affect them, contributing to a smooth project delivery.

GFG Projects leveraged long-standing relationships with local subcontractors, drawing on a deep understanding of the region’s capabilities. This enabled the team to source skilled, reliable partners and foster local economic growth. To deliver maximum value for the client, GFG recommended alternatives for key components, including roof cladding and lighting fixtures. These adjustments provided cost-effective solutions without compromising on quality.
