GFG Projects were engaged by the FKG Group Developments team to construct Nundah Apartments, a multi-story residential complex comprising 16 units. Each unit boasts three bedrooms, two bathrooms, and two garages, ensuring a comfortable living experience.
The project was intricately designed over six levels, incorporating two levels dedicated to car parking and four levels for residential spaces. Despite the logistical challenges posed by the compact 1,000m2 lot, the complex’s footprint was maximised efficiently. This optimisation, however, presented logistical hurdles such as limited access for site machinery, amenities, and materials storage. The construction process was further complicated by unpredictable weather conditions, particularly extreme rainfall. Despite these challenges, the team employed robust strategies and proactive measures to mitigate risks and ensure progress.
Key features of Nundah Apartments include a hydrostatic basement slab, a bored pier/shotcrete retention system, suspended slabs, a timber-trussed roof, and a disabled access elevator.
