GFG Projects were engaged by the FKG Group Developments team to construct a 1,719sqm commercial space, building a Guzman y Gomez. Constructed in Wilsonton, Toowoomba, the project included 13 car parking spaces, tilt-up construction restaurant, two bathrooms, detention tank, drive thru with ordering/pay awnings, and roof mounted plant deck with associated services plant.
The scope of the work included all structural works, services and linings, and external works to the project. The team also managed and supervised a team of local subcontractors, ensuring a quality build while maintaining the highest level of health and safety.
The project was delivered on time resulting in no delays in GYG’s official opening day. The Wilsonton restaurant is also Guzman Y Gomez’s first drive thru restaurant constructed in the region.
