GFG Projects were engaged by the FKG Group Developments team to construct a 1,700sqm workshop and commercial office space for Hire and Equipment Specialists, Ezyquip Hire, in Darwin.
Custom designed to suit the heavy earthmoving industry, the facility was delivered within 22 weeks to ensure handover before the start of Darwin’s wet season.
The hydraulic, mechanical, electrical, fire and security services also formed part of the project scope, as well as the office and workshop fit out which included the installation of a prefabricated service pit, hose reel gantries, a 6.3T hoist and 10T gantry crane. The local support of suppliers and subcontractors was essential in the successful delivery of the project, and provided benefits not only to the construction, but Ezyquip Hire’s business also.
